Boys and Their Toys

Meet the newest of the toys.  As Scrap/y has been corrected, it's a tool for yard work, but it's a fun tool.  Whatever...it's a toy!

For those who don't know, Mr. Yeti is very practical...if it doesn't make sense to make a purchase, he won't get it.  He doesn't spend lots of time in the store, because he knows exactly what he needs to get.  He gets it and he's out (so to speak).  (The grocery store might be the only exception.)

So when Scrap/y was working on his first soon-to-be father's day gift, of course she's got to get input so that he actually uses whatever it is.

Yeti asked for a riding lawn mower.  Seems like a reasonable request, since we have 5 lots that he has to mow.  So, he got his mower...and a bagger...and a tractor cart!

And he loves it!  This "toy" does cut lawn mowing time down significantly, opening up opportunities for him to be productive with other projects in the hangar.

The inaugural mow
The push mower is now for the edges he can't get with the riding lawn mower, but conveniently enough, his weed wacker died.  (Guess what the next purchase is gonna be?!)

Remy and Scrap/y watched (in the shade) as he happily drove around the yard in his new "man toy" and Remy even gave him his seal of approval.  Standby for Remy's ride in the tractor cart at some point this summer.

High five to the new toy
Ah, boys and their toys!
