3/4D Action

We recently went to get a 3D/4D ultrasound in San Antonio. As could be expected, our child was less than cooperative. She did confirm her gender, which was reassuring because Scrap/y had a dream that she came out a he. We had no idea what the 4 in 4D really meant, but rolled with the punches (literally, as that's what she was doing to Scrap/y the whole time) until we figured out that meant movement.

Plus side, we got a peek at how she's looking. The downside was that she's breech, so the tech couldn't get very detailed images. Oh well, can't win them all, right? Here are some of what we did get.

Some people have said that getting an ultrasound becomes old because they know what to expect.  We can't say the same...to us it is so cool to see how the baby is growing and see what we both feel, whether it is a kick or elbow or lots of tossing and turning.

Probably the best part of this sonogram was the wagering that we've started...what part of us will be on her?  Not too much longer until we find out!
