The past couple of weeks have kinda melded together. We had the movers at the house for almost a week! It took them 3 days to pack everything, and another to load. Needless to say, it was very busy. Mornings were spent prepping for the movers, dealing with the movers during the day, then using the little bit of time at night to get ready for the next day and try to sleep.
One thing we didn't account for was Remy. Poor guy was starting to get a little freaked out. So, we let him take refuge on the Lazy Boy so he would have somewhere to hide out, since we put away his kennel.
Every night, never failed...we were wiped out!! Yeti got these photos when Scrap/y wasn't looking...so funny we had to post them. After a week of intense packing, the house was cleared out. Renters moved in almost immediately. We are thankful that we have a responsible family in the house, so we don't have anything to worry about once we leave. For the next month, we are essentially homeless, but really, the next adventure begins...relocating to Texas. It's a two phased move: Phase 1: Fly the Cessna to Texas and then Phase 2: Drive the truck and trailer to Texas
Stay tuned!
