Flying to Texas - Day 1

Today, on Cinco de Mayo, we should be enjoying a margarita or sangria of some sort, instead we started the day in Fairbanks, Alaska and ended it in Watson Lake, Yukon Territory in Canada.

Our original plan was to fly to Juneau, Alaska and then fly along the water to avoid having to fly into Canada.  Unfortunately the weather had other plans for us, so we had to fly through Canada.

What is really helpful is that both of us can fly the plane.  So, while one of us flew the other was able to take a nap.  VERY nice when you don't have a radio.  We are going to look into adding one though!

Scrap/y flew us into Canada.  This link shows the track that we flew...Day 1 Flight
