Seems like in our family we don't go on a trip without doing something in the air. For this Hawaiian vacay, the arial adventure was going for a glider ride with Honolulu Soaring.
I had no idea how we were going to get a glider into the air. BUT, I quickly figured it out. Yeti and I had to squeeze into the backseat of the Bird of Paradise (our glider) and we went on a 30 minute glide over the North Shore.
To get up, up, up, we were towed by a taildragger airplane similar to the one we own. After we reached the desired altitude, the guide plane let us go.
It was an incredible experience! We even got to see some whale action!
