Moving with the seasons

Seems like this year we have been moving with the seasons...we left North Pole, Alaska for San Antonio, Texas as Spring was turning to summer and now as summer turns to fall, we are leaving San Antonio, Texas for Del Rio, Texas. 

This has been a fairly successful summer for us. 

Yeti completed Pilot Instructor Training (this was the most important part of our summer stop).  He is now a qualified T-38 Instructor Pilot; he will be teaching student pilots how to fly this high-performance jet aircraft.

We both made new friends, and got to visit with some old ones too.

We were able to see Scrap/y's brothers start a new semester in school.  Three of them are sophomores pursuing their undergrad, and one is starting his graduate degree at UTSA.  So proud of them!

Joseph is going to Texas State, Patrick to UT-Arlington and Victor to UTSA.  Yup, the triplets are in college!

And eventhough we were both sick, got to attend the first-ever University of Texas - San Antonio football game.

The drive from SA to DR is only about 2.5 hours, which is NOTHING compared to the road trip we went on to get here. 

So, in our fine nomad fashion, we loaded up the trailer, truck and (a new edition) car and set out the 150 or so miles to execute step 4 of our 5 step move - get to Del Rio.

We are excited to get one step closer to being set for another three to four years...now to find a place to live...
