Being in the military, you become accustomed (for the most part) to change and dealing with transitions. Work changes, living conditions change, surroundings change...the list is endless.
We were chatting about this move, and talked about how when we were single everything always changed with a move. This move, though, was different. Everything around the both of us was in constant flux...everything but us and Remy. Poor Remy...about the only thing that stayed the same for him was the fact he was with us.
It's really nice to have a partner-in-crime to share the transition load with.
So here we are...
Yeti is now in week three of his training. His schedule is absolute jello. Some days he's in early, others not so much.
Scrap/y, on the other hand, started week two working with the Texas Guard this week. She's got a very regimented schedule, working four days a week for ten hours a day. Plus side is a three-day weekend...every week!
Transitions can be fun and challenging. This summer, we will be living in our little one bedroom apartment, across the street from Fiesta Texas. Extending open door invites is on hiatus, unless guests don't mind sleeping on a couch or air matress and don't mind being woken up by our resident alarm clock...sloppy, wet Remy kisses!
Seriously, if you find yourselves in San Antonio, look us up!
