It took us two months, but we finally did it!
Being that she's still so little (and very unpredictable) we thought it best that her first flight be just like Remy's...in Scrap/y's lap. Pacifier and cranium wear in hand, we made the long trek next door to load the plane.
Scrapling wasn't too thrilled about having to wear hearing protection of her own. A wonderful friend of ours gave us this awesome pink headset, made just for kids. Needless to say, it's going to take a while for her to like wearing them!

After takeoff, we circled around the house, climbing up to 2,000 feet and played in the pattern (around our airfield). Scrapling did so well that she decided she needed to nap. So the big hype to take her up turned into nap time for her. Remy did what he does best and hung out in the back, happy to be part of this milestone in Scrapling's little life.
We wanted for her first flight to be a short sweet intro to aviation...next time we will venture out a little further and test her stamina on a longer leg. It made us so happy that she was calm and seemed to enjoy herself.
